The Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) is an internationally recognised professional qualification accountancy awarded by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) www.accaglobal.com, The CAT qualification is an ideal choice for those who are interested in accountancy field, which provide the basic knowledge and base for successful completion of ACCA.
You will be able to obtain the CAT qualification by passing or being exempt from all the examinations and completing one year's approved work experience.

CAT Syllabus:
All parts may be studied on a day-release basis. Outside the taught programme, students will be set an amount of theoretical and practical work and reading roughly equal to the time spent in class.

Introductory
 Paper 1 – Recording Financial Transactions
 Paper 2 – Information for Management Control

Intermediate
 Paper 1 – Managing Financial Records
 Paper 2 – Accounting for Costs

Advanced
 Paper 1 – Managing People & Systems
 Paper 2 – Drafting Financial Statements
 Paper 3 – Planning Control & Performance Management

Two Papers from (optional)
 Paper 1 - Implementing Audit Procedures
 Paper 2 – Preparing Taxation Computations
 Paper 3 – Managing Finances

Registration Requirements:
Must be age 16 or over, no formal qualification required to register

31st December for June Examinations
