ABE Diploma & Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management  
 

The ABE programme in Human Resource Management aims to:

  • Give those who complete the qualification, competence in the theory, procedures and practice of Personnel Administration and Human Resource Management.

  • Qualify them to work in a Personnel or HRM Department.

  • Enable them to proceed further with their studies and enhance their career prospects.

The ABE Diploma is divided into 2 parts:

Part 1 ( 4 Subjects)

All four papers are compulsory

Organisational Behaviour

Part 2( 5 subjects in total to be taken)

Principles of Business Law
Personnel Information Systems
People Planning and Resourcing
Employment Relations
Economics
Quantitative Methods

Duration : 2 years

ABE Advanced Diploma

Managing in Organisations
Strategic HRM for Business Organisation
Performance Management and Reward
Managing Organisational Change and Development
Corporate Strategy and Planning

Duration: 1 Year

Entry Requirement:

Diploma: ABE Certificate or Two GCE ‘A’ levels together with four GCSEs at Grade C or above.

Advanced Diploma: ABE Diploma or other recognised qualification of an approved overseas institution of Higher Education.

ABE qualification are well established and meet the entry requirements for BA (Hons) or MBA programmes at leading British, Australian and American Universities. The successful completion of ABE Advanced Diploma will normally be accepted by most universities for BA (Hons) or BBA degree 3rd year or Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies (DMS) leading to MBA.
